PowerBook Repair

The PowerBook that was manufactured and sold from 1991 to 2006. During its lifetime, the PowerBook went through several major revisions and redesigns, often being the first to incorporate features that would later become standard in competing laptops. We offer a variety of PowerBook Repair services to suit all situations, all available in our Dublin City Centre offices.

The PowerBook line was targeted at the professional market, and received numerous awards. In 1999, the line was supplemented by the low-end iBook range. The PowerBook and iBook lines were discontinued and replaced by the MacBook Pro and MacBook families respectively by 2006.

In April 2006 the 17-inch PowerBook G4 was replaced by a 17-inch MacBook Pro variant. The 12-inch PowerBook G4 remained available until May 2006, when the new MacBook was introduced. This made the 12-inch PowerBook 1.5 GHz the final official model of the PowerBook line, ending over 14.5 years of continuous production.
